Router Recommendations
There are three parameters that need to consider: Number of users in group, the Router range
and router power consumption.
Router should have the ability to serve all users within group.
Some routers are limited for 10-15 users.
Router should require a range coverage of at least 50 meters, for not losing any user
before Guide pay attention. It’s recommended to have a range of 100-150 meters. Most
mobile routers have less than 40 meters. For that purpose, the system can use more than
a single router to increase range. The additional routers can work as a repeater.
Recommended to use an additional router from the same vendor, but most of the time
selecting a different vendor will work.
Router battery should be sufficient for at least full day tour So it can be charge during
night. There’s another solution and that to have a reserve battery backup.
Safe Tour
SafeTour founded for the use of Tour Guides and Travelers Group Heads who need a
management tool in the field during the tour with which they can locate any member of
the group, send/receive a message or talks with each traveler if needed.

Guide can send direction instructions to traveler that lost the line of sight from the group for retroactive preventing travelers of getting lost, by using immediate message or talking, as desire. -
The system is based on mobile router that can be acquired independently by Guide or the group.
